43 Feet Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 Deck Saloon

This is a yacht for the demanding and discerning owner. In excellent condition the yacht needs to be seen to fully appreciate the loving care and attention it has enjoyed.

Commissioned on the 8th November 2002 the yacht has been owned, from new, by the present non smoking co-owners. Both retired – husband in his early 70s and wife in her late 60s – the boat has had gentle use. It has only been sailed in weather that gave pleasurable sailing.

Having a large airy main cabin, with panoramic views, and good sea keeping qualities this yacht is ideal for leisure and pleasure use, or for those who wish to be “liveaboards”. It can be sailed safely and comfortably by just a couple. (The current owners, as well as being retired, are both small in height and slight in stature).

The current owner’s have used the yacht exclusively for their leisure and pleasure only. (The yacht has never been used for living aboard nor has it ever been used for Charter).

The yacht is registered on the Part One section of the Registry of British Ships and Seamen.

This yacht has the option to be a 2 cabin, 3 cabin or 4 cabin layout.

The yacht was delivered as a 3 cabin version (Owner’s cabin aft, with two cabins forward – one double berth cabin and one cabin with two bunk berths). The owner’s aft cabin has two access doors – “His and Hers”! With this facility, the co-owners have recently provided dividing partitions to convert the aft owner’s cabin into two separate double cabins- if desired. These dividing partitions are stowed in a storage compartment in the bed base.

Conversion from two cabins to three cabins or to four cabins – one/two cabins forward and/or owner’s/two cabins aft – takes perhaps between 20 to 30 minutes. It is that simple! Dependent upon choice of number of cabins required the unused cabin partitions can be neatly stowed away.

The co-owners – retired husband and wife – have sailed the yacht, from new, as a 2 cabin version, with owner’s ensuite cabin aft and a guest ensuite cabin forward.

Now offering the yacht for sale it has been returned to the original three cabin configuration.

The yacht has two heads, one forward and one aft; both have showering facilities, the aft heads having its own separate full size shower compartment.

The yacht has a bespoke, full standing headroom cockpit canopy/cover. With ten windows, seven of which are in removable panels, the cover is very versatile. The seven window panels can be rolled up or removed individually, severally, or all together to make the cover into a Bimini. The complete cover, including removable window panels, can be folded away onto its frame and then enclosed neatly within its own tailored canvas bag.

The present owner’s regularly sail with this canopy/cover in place – with the leeward side windows rolled up – reducing exposure to the elements to a minimum.

The Marina where the yacht is presently berthed has indicated that the current berth can be transferred to the new owner, if so desired.

This is a yacht for the demanding and discerning owner. . In excellent condition the yacht needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
